Austrian experts in hybrid timber construction sign license agreement with Losinger Marazzi AG
Bern/Dornbirn – September 18, 2020. Demand for timber buildings is growing because they are sustainable, low-carbon, and locally produced. Switzerland is no exception – here too, investors and developers are increasingly looking to use natural materials in their construction projects. Now Austrian experts CREE have awarded Bern-based developer and general contractor Losinger Marazzi a license to use its groundbreaking timber construction system. CREE founder and CEO Hubert Rhomberg is delighted with this new partnership: “Losinger Marazzi is on the same wavelength as CREE, and we are very proud to welcome the company into the CREE family. Losinger Marazzi is an established Swiss company that is part of the French Bouygues Construction group.
