1. Collection of Information

We collect information from you directly from your input and automatically through the technologies of the services.

 

1.1 Automatically Collected Information

The Service automatically collects certain information relating to your use of the Service for the purposes of data security and user-friendliness:

  • The Internet protocol (‘IP’) address used to connect your computer to the Internet;
  • Computer, device and connection information, such as browser type and version, operating system, mobile platform and unique device identifiers (UDID) and other technical IDs;
  • Uniform Resource Locator (‘URL’) Clickstream data, including the date and time and the content you viewed or searched for in a service and the URL that referred you to that service.

We save this information only for as long as this is necessary for the purposes of data security and user-friendliness.

 

1.2 Cookies & Web Beacons

CREE uses in the browser so-called cookies and web beacons. Cookies are small files with configuration settings that help CREE determine the frequency and type of use of our website. Cookies are also used to implement certain user functions. CREE does not collect any personal data via cookies and web beacons. In addition, use of CREE’s website is also possible without cookies. CREE points out, however, that in this case not all functions of this website may be fully usable.

 

Which cookies are used by CREE?

  • ‘Session’ cookies are temporary and are deleted when the browser is closed.
  • ‘Persistent’ cookies remain on your device until they expire or are deleted manually.
  • ‘Web beacons’ (counting graphics) are electrical graphics, also known as ‘single-pixel images’, which allow recording or analysis of website-usage.

Use of Google-Maps

On our site we use the component ‘Google Maps’ from Google Inc. Each time you access the Google Maps component, Google sets a cookie to process user settings and data when you view the page that includes the Google Maps component. As a rule, this cookie is not deleted when you close your browser, but expires after a certain time, unless you delete it manually beforehand. If you do not agree to this processing of your data, it is possible to deactivate the ‘Google Maps’ service and thus prevent the transfer of data to Google. Use of Youtube Components with Extended Data Protection Mode

On our website we use videos of YouTube LLC, a company of Google Inc. Here we use the option ‘ – extended data protection mode -‘ provided by YouTube. When you access a page that has an embedded video, it connects to the YouTube servers and displays the content on the website by notifying your browser. According to YouTube, in ‘ – extended privacy mode -‘ only data is transmitted to the YouTube server, especially which of our websites you visited when you watch the video. If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, this information will be associated with your YouTube account. Use of Facebook features

We use functions of Facebook on this website, a social media network of Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2 Ireland. What features (social plug-ins) Facebook provides, you can read on developers.facebook.com. By visiting our website information can be transmitted to Facebook. If you have a Facebook account, Facebook can associate that information with your personal account. If you do not want that, please log out of Facebook. We use the ‘visitor action pixel’ of Facebook Inc. on our website. This allows users’ behaviour to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This process is designed to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and may help to optimize future advertising efforts. The data collected is anonymous to us, so it does not give us any indication of the identity of the users. However, Facebook stores and processes the data so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Usage Guidelines (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). You can allow Facebook and its partners to serve ads on and off Facebook. A cookie may also be stored on your computer for these purposes. Use of Leadfeeder

This website uses Leadfeeder on the basis of the website operator’s legitimate interests (Section 6 paragraph 1 lit.f GDPR) in order to collect and save data on marketing, market research and optimisation purposes. In order to do this, a javascript based code, which serves to capture company-related data and according website usage. The data captured using this technology are encrypted in a non-retrievable one-way function (so-called hashing). The data is immediately pseudonymised and is not used to identify website visitors personally. You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@leadfeeder.com. 1.4 Newsletter

We use the services of HubSpot to send our newsletters. When you register for our newsletter, the data (e-mail address) that you provide when registering for the newsletter will be transferred to HubSpot and stored there. HubSpot offers extensive analysis possibilities about how the newsletters are opened and used. These analyses are group-related and are not used by us for individual evaluation of newsletter recipients. HubSpot is certified under the Privacy Shield framework. These data transmissions are permitted due to the adequacy decision of the European Commission (EU) 2016/1250.

2. Data Security

Your data will be hosted by a provider located within the European Union (Rhomberg Bau, Bregenz, Österreich). Both CREE and the provider use technical and organisational security measures to protect your collected data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or against access by unauthorised persons. We would like to point out that the transmission of data on the Internet is unsecured and there is therefore a risk that third parties may intercept and use the data. 3. Minors

Children and adolescents under the age of 14 may not transmit personal data on the Internet without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. 5. Right of access, erasure, restriction of processing
